Want to help the environment by reusing your plastic bottles and not throwing them in the bin? All you need to make a home made planter is an old water bottle and to cut a hole in the side and a couple little ones in the bottom for drainage with an adults assistance! Then fill with soil and plant your seeds,  water regularly and watch them grow and flourish!

DIY Watering Can

DIY watering cans are easy to make, and cheap! Why not save yourself some money and create your own by simply using an old milk carton and piercing the cap with a pin with an adults supervision!

Fill up with water and you have yourself a watering can!

Home-made stone markers

Looking for a fun and creative way to label your fruit, veg and plants that you're growing? Why not create your own markers by painting on the stones what you're growing then just place the stone next to what you're growing to easily identify which plant is which!

Milk Carton Bird Feeder

Bird feeders are simple, easy and cheap to make - save yourself some money and have some fun whilst you build your own! All you need is an empty milk carton, some string and some bird food. Cut a hole on the side big enough for birds to get into, then tie the string to the milk carton and also a tree branch. Fill with bird food then watch out for birds to use your homemade bird feeder!
